Advisory Council Holds Weekly Regular Session

Doha, June 20 (QNA) - The Advisory Council held its 39th weekly regular session on Monday, chaired by HE the Speaker of the Council Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Kholaifi.
During the session, the Council approved the minutes of its previous session and then discussed the Legislative and Legal Affairs Committee's report on a draft law on combating human trafficking.
The Council decided to refer its recommendations thereon to the Cabinet.
The council also discussed the Finance and Economic Affairs Committee's report on a draft law amending some provisions of Law No. (7) of the year 1987 on controls governing the practice by the citizens of the GCC member states of trade business in the State of Qatar.
The Council then decided to refer its recommendations thereon to the Cabinet for further study and to prepare a supplementary report. (QNA)
