Qatar Reiterates Full Supports for UN Human Rights Council

Geneva, June 20 (QNA) - Qatar has reiterated its intention to continue its full cooperation with the UN Human Rights Council, and its firm support for it , and confirmed at the same time its willingness to cooperate with all countries and all stakeholders for the advancement of all areas of human rights, in the interests of peoples and nations.
Qatar also expressed confidence that the Human Rights Council during the presidency of the Permanent Representative of Uruguay, Ambassador Laura Dupuy for the next term will achieve new gains in the area of ??open dialogue and constructive cooperation as well as the consolidation of the Human Rights Council's principles including t integrity, objectivity and non-selectivity.
This came in a speech delivered here on Monday by HE Ambassador Abdullah Falah Abdullah Al Dossari, Qatar's Permanent Representative to the United Nations Office in Geneva during the organizational meeting held by the UN Human Rights Council to welcome the Permanent Representative of Uruguay, Mrs. Laura Dupuy on the occasion of assuming the presidency of the Council for the next term, in addition to welcoming the Council's new members.
