Belgium King Meets Qatar's Ambassador
Brussels, June 23 (QNA) - Belgium King Albert II met HE Qatar's Ambassador to Belgium Sheikh Mishaal bin Hamad Al Thani and Duchy of Luxembourg and Chief of Mission to the European Union, on the occasion of the end of his tenure as Ambassador of Qatar to Belgium.
At the outset of the meeting, HE Sheikh Mishaal bin Hamad Al Thani conveyed greetings of HH the Emir of Qatar Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani and HH the Heir Apparent Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.
For his part, King Albert II entrusted the Ambassador with his wishes of best of health to HH the Emir and HH the Heir Apparent and expressed his appreciation for the importance of the political and economic relations between the state of Qatar and the Kingdom of Belgium.
Belgium King also expressed his thanks and appreciation to HE Sheikh Mishaal bin Hamad Al Thani for his efforts to promote and develop relations between the two countries at all levels.
At the end of the meeting, King Albert II granted HE Sheikh Mishaal bin Hamad Al Thani the Belgian Highest Order of the Crown in appreciation for the efforts he made during his duties in Belgium. (QNA)
