TEHRAN, July 10 (MNA) -- The Iranian cinema stage and costume designer Farhad Farsi has died at 59 in Sweden. He was suffering from colon cancer.

“He was suffering from colon cancer that was also threatening his stomach,” his friend Gholamreza Nami told the Persian service of ISNA on Saturday, adding, “He left for Sweden to continue his treatment and died there.”
