Iranian FM has no plan to travel to Saudi Arabia
TEHRAN, July 11 (MNA) – Deputy Foreign Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Hassan Qashqavi said on Sunday that Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi is not scheduled to travel to Saudi Arabia as claimed by the Kuwaiti al-Watan newspaper.
Saudi Arabian Foreign Minister Saud al-Faisal had expressed his interest in holding negotiations with Tehran in his remarks dated July 5.
Following the remarks, the Kuwaiti newspaper claimed that the foreign ministers of the two countries will hold a meeting in the near future.
