MALAYSIAN PRIME MINISTER BEGINS UK VISIT

LONDON, July 13 (Bernama) -- Prime Minister Najib Razak arrived here Tuesday for a four-day official visit aimed at boosting ties between Malaysia and the United Kingdom.
Accompanied by his wife Rosmah Mansor, Najib flew into London after
concluding a visit to Turkmenistan.
He arrived at Farnborough airport at 3.45pm local time (10.45pm Malaysian) and was welcomed by Special Representative of Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs John Mcdonald, British High Commissioner to Malaysia Simon Featherstone, International Trade and Industry Minister Mustapa Mohamed and Malaysian High Commissioner to the UK Zakaria Sulong.
The Malaysian leader is scheduled to meet UK government leaders and captains of industry during his visit at the invitation of British Prime Minister David Cameron.
He is also scheduled to have an audience with Queen Elizabeth II at
Buckingham Palace.
