OUTGOING SINGAPORE ENVOY PAYS FAREWELL VISIT TO DPM
PUTRAJAYA, July 13 (Bernama) -- Deputy Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin Wednesday received a farewell visit from Datuk T. Jasudasen who will complete his tenure as the Singapore High Commissioner here after serving in this country for five years.
The meeting, which lasted about half-an-hour, was held at the office of the Deputy Prime Minister at Bangunan Perdana Putra, here.
Jasudasen, 59, who was born in Negeri Sembilan, had served as the Singapore High Commissioner here from June 19, 2006, succeeding Ashok Mirpuri.
Jasudasen will be succeeded by former Asean secretary-general Ong Keng Yong who will assume the post on Monday.
