Mohammed bin Rashid receives Qatari premier
Dubai, Sept. 14 2008 (WAM) - Vice President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai, H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, received at the Za'abeel palace later Saturday Qatari Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Sheikh Hamad bin Jasim bin Jabr Al Thani.
During the meeting, which was held in the presence of Dubai Crown Prince, H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and Dubai Deputy Ruler, H.H. Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, they discussed fraternal ties and ways to boost them in all fields.
They also discussed a number of Arab and regional issues of mutual interest.
Also present at the meeting were a number of sheikhs and senior officials.
The Qatari minister, who arrived earlier today on a short visit to the UAE, left later this evening.
He was received and seen-off at the Dubai International Airport by Dubai Deputy Ruler, H.H. Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Civil Aviation Department and Dubai Airports, and President of the Emirates Group, Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum and Qatari Ambassador.
