UAE pavilion in Expo Zaragoza attracts 900,000 visitors
Zaragoza, Sep 13th, 2008 (WAM) - 900,000 visitors from Spain and abroad have so far toured the UAE pavilion since it was opened in mid-June at Expo Zaragoza 2008 which is being held under the theme "Water and Sustainable development', it was revealed today.
The pavilion which is being overseen by the National Media Council (NMC) of the UAE accommodates 150 visitors at a time in a hall where a 12-minute documentary is being played on giant screens to give viewers a quick yet thrilling overview of different aspects of life, traditions, development and history of the UAE.
Meanwhile, the commissariat of the UAE pavilion held an iftar banquet in honour of exhibitors from Muslim and Arab countries.
