POLICE NAB MURDER SUSPECT, 13 YEARS AFTER CRIME

    BEIJING, July 15 (Bernama) -- A man who appeared as a candidate on a popular dating show in Heilongjiang province, a month ago, now has a date -- with the police.
    
    According to the police on Wednesday, he is the suspect in a 13-year-old murder which occured outside a restaurant in Jilin.
    
    A local newspaper said the police were tight-lipped over details of the case.
    
    A Jilin police spokesman said investigations began after receiving a report from an audience of 'Happy League', a popular dating show in the province.
    
    The audience recognised a candidate on the show as the wanted suspect in the murder which occured in the 1990s.
