ENTRIES FOR INTERNATIONAL CAT SHOW 2011 NOW OPEN
KUCHING (Sarawak, Malaysia), July 20 (Bernama) -- The International Cat Show 2011 which will be held at the Kuching Civic Centre on Oct 15 is expected to draw 200 cats of various breeds from all over the world.
Sarawak Cat Club (SCC) president Dr Huey Lee Hui Lin said those interested in participating in the show can submit their entries from Tuesday until Oct 2.
"Judging will be based on guidelines provided by the Cat Fanciers
Association (CFA). The jury for this year is from America and Australia
"The criteria will include beauty, uniqueness, health and temperament. Cats that are playful and active can easily get good marks," she said in a statement here Tuesday.
Apart from the show, there will be workshops for participants and visiors.
She said the show this year is jointly organised by SCC, Kuching City Hall, Sarawak Cat Museum, Sarawak Convention Bureau and the CFA.
