Lavrov invites Iranian FM to visit Moscow
TEHRAN, July 25 (MNA) – Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has invited his Iranian counterpart Ali Akbar Salehi to travel to Moscow in the near future.
The invitation came in a message delivered by Russian deputy foreign minister for the Persian Gulf and the Middle East affairs to Mohammad Reza Sheibaini, the Iranian deputy foreign minister for Middle Eastern affairs.
In the message, Lavrov called for expansion of ties between Tehran and Moscow through holding regular talks between the officials of the two countries.
