Iran electricity export soars 16.5%
TEHRAN, July 25 (MNA) – Iran has exported over 2,402 GW/h of electricity since the beginning of the current Iranian calendar year (March 21, 2011).
The amount shows 16.5 percent increase on the corresponding period last year, the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting reported.
Iran currently exchanges electricity with Pakistan, Armenia, Turkey, Turkmenistan, the Republic of Azerbaijan, Iraq, Afghanistan, and Nakhichevan.
