NORTH KOREAN FOREIGN MINISTER CALLS ON DPM

PUTRAJAYA, July 25 (Bernama) -- Deputy Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin Monday received a courtesy call by North Korean Foreign Minister Pak Ui Chun here.

Also present at the 12.30pm meeting was the republic's ambassador to Malaysia, Jang Yong Chol.

Pak arrived here this morning for a three-day visit, his first visit to Malaysia.

He is scheduled to meet his counterpart Anifah Aman Tuesday.

His programmes include a visit to the Malaysian Technological Park in Bukit Jalil and attending a briefing by the Economic Planning Unit.
