Iran finishes last in Portugal basketball tournament
TEHRAN, July 26 (MNA) -- Iran finished at the fourth place at the Guimaraes Basketball Tournament in Portugal.
The Iranian team lost to Portugal 62-56 in the last day of the three-day competition.
Iran started the tournament with a loss to Angola 74-54 and then beat Romania 76-66.
Host Portugal won the championship followed by Angola, Romania and Iran.
Iran is gearing up for the 2011 FIBA Asia Championship for Men which will be held in Wuhan, China from 15 to 25 September.
