Leader grants 800 million rials to help free prisoners

TEHRAN, Aug. 8 (MNA) – Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei on Sunday donated 800 million rials (over 75000 dollars) as part of a campaign to pardon or commute the sentences of certain prisoners.

The prisoners include those who have been imprisoned for committing chance-medley or accidentally injuring somebody.
