Iran’s compound team claims bronze in Archery World Cup
TEHRAN, Aug. 8 (MNA) -- Iran’s compound men team finished at third place in the 2011 Archery World Cup in Ogden, the U.S. on Saturday night.
Iran team consists of Majid Gheydi, Amir Kazempour and Behzad Pakzad defeated France 232-231 in the bronze medal match.
The U.S. won the gold after beating Canada 234-229 in the event.
The next stage of the 2011 Archery World Cup will be held in Shanghai, China September 5-10.
Shanghai is the final stage of the World Cup before the Finals in Istanbul, Turkey September 24-25.
