Number of new phone subscribers reached 5.7 million in Vietnam
Hanoi, Aug. 8 (VNA) - The General Statistics Office reported that the number of new phone subscribers reached 5.7 million in the first seven months throughout the country, a decrease of 30.9 percent over the same period last year.
There were 36,400 fixed telephone subscribers and nearly 5.7 million mobile phone subscribers.
In addition, the number of ADSL subscribers was estimated to reach 4 million by the end of July, or a 19 percent year-on-year increase
