Iranian officials start first visit to Egypt
TEHRAN, Aug. 9 (MNA) – An Iranian parliamentary delegation arrived in Cairo on Monday to hold talks with Egyptian officials including Foreign Minister Nabil al-Arabi.
This is the first visit by Iranian officials following the ouster of former Egyptian dictator Hosni Mubarak in February.
The delegation is headed by Alaeddin Boroujerdi, the chairman of Iran’s Majlis National Security and Foreign Policy Committee.
