Awakening movement could not be put down: Iran
TEHRAN, Aug. 10 (MNA) – On Tuesday, Major General Hassan Firouzabadi strongly criticized the Azerbaijani government for taking measures which go against Islamic principles.
The chairman of Iran’s Joint Chiefs of Staff said that the Azerbaijani president should know that people’s awakening could not be suppressed, adding Ilham Aliyev will face a grim fate if he does not heed this warning.
He also expressed regret that certain neighboring countries do not feel bound to principles of friendship with Iran and give Zionists leeway in their countries.
