PM NAJIB HOPES MALAYSIANS IN LONDON WILL BE WARY ABOUT SECURITY
KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 10 (Bernama) -- Prime Minister Najib Tun Razak
Wednesday called on Malaysians residing in London and its vicinity to be careful
following the riots in that area.
"I hope Malaysians in London and the surrounding areas to be wary and to
look after their own security," he said briefly in his Twitter social networking
website, here Wednesday.
Najib was also concerned when told that a Malaysian student, Asyraf Haziq
Rosli had been assaulted and robbed during the incident.
The riots began in London several days ago after a man was shot dead by
police in Tottenham, north London before spreading to other towns including
Birmingham, Liverpool, Bristol and Manchester.
