TEHRAN, Aug. 16 (MNA) – Ayatollah Mohammad Reza Mahdavi Kani says he has accepted to chair the Assembly of Experts to help settle disputes between various political groups.
He also criticized certain media outlets for publishing divisive articles and reports, emphasizing that he will stand firm and push ahead with efforts to achieve unity among principlists for the March parliamentary election.
In addition, he said anybody who believes in principles of the Islamic Revolution is regarded as principlist.
