Iranian, Turkish FMs hold talks on Syria
TEHRAN, Aug. 16 (MNA) – Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi and his Turkish counterpart Ahmet Davutoglu, during a telephone conversation on Monday, exchanged views about the latest regional developments, especially in Syria.
Since the beginning of the political turmoil in Syria, Iran and Turkey, as major regional powers, have made extensive diplomatic efforts to help resolve the political crisis afflicting Iran’s regional ally.
