EC BRIEFS FOREIGN MISSIONS ON MALAYSIA'S ELECTORAL SYSTEM
KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 19 (Bernama) -- The Foreign Ministry on Thursday organised a briefing on the Malaysian electoral system for foreign missions in Putrajaya.
The briefing was given by Election Commission chairman Abdul Aziz Mohd Yusof.
Foreign Minister Anifah Aman in a statement here Thursday night said that Abdul Aziz also explained related current issues and developments, including the announcement of the establishment of the Parliamentary Select Committee on Electoral Reforms.
Anifah said that more than 60 foreign diplomats attended the briefing which was followed by a question and answer session that allowed foreign diplomats to exchange views on the electoral system with the EC chairman.
