Iran, China FMs exchange messages on diplomatic ties anniversary
TEHRAN, Aug. 21 (MNA) – Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi and his Chinese counterpart Yang Jiechi exchanged messages of congratulation on the 40th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Tehran and Beijing.
The Islamic Republic of Iran and the People’s Republic of China established diplomatic relations on August 16, 1971.
The two officials also called for further expansion of bilateral cooperation between the two countries.
