NON-MUSLIMS SHOULD NOT WORRY ABOUT MUSLIM UNITY, SAYS DPM
MUAR (Malaysia), Aug 22 (Bernama) -- Non-Muslims in Malaysia should not
worry about Muslim unity as it would be good for the country's progress and
development, said Muhyiddin Yassin.
The deputy prime minister said Muslims were the main group in the country
and hence, unity among them was something that would be very good for the
country.
Muhyiddin, who is also education minister and Pagoh Umno division head, was
speaking at a Raya contribution handing-over, Quran reading and breaking-of-fast
event organised by the Pagoh Umno division at Dewan Seri Pekembar, here, Sunday.
He said all communities would benefit from Muslim unity in the country.
