Salehi, Lavrov review step-by step proposal: Ria Novosti
TEHRAN, Aug.24(MNA)--Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi and his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov have discussed Iran’s nuclear issue, Russian Foreign Ministry announced on Monday.
According to the report, during a telephone conversation, the two foreign ministers reviewed a roadmap proposed by Moscow to resolve issues pertaining to Iran’s nuclear case.
On July 13, Russia made a proposal for a step-by-step approach, according to which Iran could address questions about its nuclear program and be rewarded with a gradual easing of sanctions.
