Ayatollah censures Turkey for its policy on Syria

TEHRAN, Aug.24(MNA)-- Grand Ayatollah Naser Makarem-Shirazi criticized the Turkish government for withdrawing its support for the Syrian government and aligning itself with the West against its crisis-hit neighbor.

“Is it right that Turkey teams up with arrogant powers to oppose Syria?”

He also said, “We did not expect Turkey to approve of arrogant powers and be at their complete disposal.”
