Docudrama “Reflex” mirroring Western Islamophobia
TEHRAN, Aug. 24 (MNA) -- Iranian filmmaker Vahid Amirkhani has recently completed the production of a docudrama series on Islamophobia in the West.
The series entitled “Reflex” is about an Iranian Americophile stage actress, who decides to leave Iran to seek asylum in the United States.
She has to change her idea about the U.S. due to the way she is treated in the country. Thus, she begins to realize why Americans treat Muslims and Iranians like dirt.
Nazafarin Kazemi stars in the docudrama series that took 40 days to film on locations in France, England and Lebanon, and the Iranian cities of Tehran, Mashhad and Qom, Amirkhani told on Tuesday.
The 13-episode series is scheduled to be aired by the Channel 4 of the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting after the end of the holy month of Ramadan.
