MP: security ministries problems will not end after Eid Break, refuse assigning acting ministers
Baghdad (NINA) – MP from Ahrar Bloc, Ali Mohsin Al Timimi, ruled out that the security ministries would be solved after Eid Al Fitr break.
In a statement to NINA, he attributed it to “the lack of a decent wish by some political blocs to solve this dossier.”
Timimi added “the Ahrar Bloc totally rejects running these ministries by assigning acting ministers, because that is not going to solve the problems that these institutions are suffering from.”
Timimi made clear that “the ministers who will be assigned as acting ministers will not be able to plan and work properly which means that they will be like the (caretaker ministers), which eventually would not solve the problem.”
The security ministers are run by acting ministers for eight months; Ministry of Defense was assign to Sadoun Al Dulaimi, while electricity ministry was assigned to Hussein Shahristani.
