‘Any act against Hezbollah, Hamas regarded as threat Iran’s interests’

TEHRAN, Aug.27(MNA) – The representative of the Supreme Leader in Sepah (IRGC) said on Friday that Iran regards any moves against Hezbollah and Hamas as an act against the interests of the Islamic Republic.

“The world’s people should know that today the positions of Hezbollah in Lebanon and Hamas in Palestine are considered as Iran’s ‘border’ with Israel, and any threat to these regions is seen as an attack on positions and interests of the Islamic system,” Hojjatoleslam Ali Saeedi noted.

Saeedi said that the global arrogance (forces of imperialism) are hatching plots against Syria and Hezbollah with the aim of undermining Iran.

Elsewhere in his remarks, the cleric disapproved of the people who believe that the issues facing the country should be given the first priority, and said that if Israel had managed to defeat Hezbollah in the 33-day war, it would have later launched attacks on Syria and Iran.
