‘Some principlists seeking to court pro-reform vote in Iran'
TEHRAN, Aug.27(MNA)-- MP Salman Zaker said a number of principlists, who share similar views with reformists, are seeking to win the votes of reformists’ sympathizers for the March parliamentary elections.
He described these principlists as “neo-reformist” and said true principlists are those figures who completely believe in Islam, the Constitution, and the principle of velayat-e faqih (rule of the supreme jurisprudent).
The cleric lawmaker added that true principlists also make every effort to safeguard the Islamic system and counter threats.
