‘Iran`s Intelligence Ministry fully prepared to repel cyber attacks’
TEHRAN, Aug.28(MNA) -- Iranian Intelligence Minister Heydar Moslehi said the ministry under his portfolio has made great achievements in carrying out counter-espionage operations and rebelling cyber attacks.
The global arrogance (forces of imperialism) have been planning to launch cyber attacks on Iran, but the Intelligence Ministry has managed to foil their plots, Moslehi told on Friday on the sidelines of International Qods Day rallies.
He added that intelligence forces have also been able to infiltrate the enemy’s networks.
Over the past few years, some Iranian organizations and facilities have been targeted by the enemies’ cyber attacks.
The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps has announced that it plans to establish the country’s first cyber command to counter cyber threats posed to national interests.
