UAE envoy to Khartoum meets Bashir's Advisor, Sudanese FM
Khartoum, Sep 21, 2008 – (WAM) - Dr. Riek Gai Kok Advisor to Sudanese President and UAE Ambassador to Sudan Eissa Abdullah Al-Basha Al-Nae'emi yesterday discussed bilateral relations between the two countries and issues of development in Southern Sudan.
The meeting which took place in Khartoum in presence of Minister of Education, Science, and Technology in the government of Southern Sudan (GOSS) Professor Job Dhoruai Malou also discussed the UAE role in boosting education and health in Southern Sudan.
Among the other topics discussed at the meeting was the upcoming visit to UAE by Minister of Higher Education at GOSS during which he will discuss education issues in Southern Sudan with UAE education officials and humanitarian organizations.
Meanwhile, Ambassador Al-Nae'emi met with Sudanese foreign minister Deng Alor to discuss bilateral relations. He conveyed to the Sudanese official the greetings of UAE Foreign Minister H.H Sheikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al-Nahyan.
