Egyptian Consul General hails Mohammed Bin Rashid's humanitarian initiatives

Dubai, Sep 21, 2008 (WAM) - Egyptian Consul General in Dubai and Northern emirates Muhab Nasr hailed the UAE-Egypt historical ties which he said are a model for cooperation and continuous coordination among countries.

"The distinct relations between the two countries will always grow thanks to the directions from President H.H Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan and President Mohammed Hosni Mubarak who are keen on further strengthening friendly relations in all areas," wrote Nasr in the "Golden Register" of Resalat Hob ("A message of Love") which is the biggest message of love ever given to H.H Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai in the second half of December this year in celebration of the UAE National Day and the International Day for the disabled.

He further hailed the humanitarian efforts by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid who he said had all the good traits as a leader, statesman and sportsman.

Nasr hailed the Dubai Cares initiative which he said would fight poverty and therefore dry the hotbeds of terrorism in the Third World. The Dubai care aims to provide proper education for 4 million children around the world.

The Egyptian Consul also hailed Sheikh Mohammed's Noor Dubai initiative which aims to provide treatment to more than one million visually impaired people around the world.
