UAE citizens in Islamabad safe

Islamabad, Sept. 21, 2008 (WAM) - All UAE citizens in Islamabad are reported to be safe, according to Ali Saif Sultan Al Awani. Al Awani, who made the statement following the terrorist attacks in the Pakistani capital, said he and the embassy staff were reassured about the safety of UAE citizens and students in Pakistan. The Ambassador also contacted the officials of the UAE companies in Pakistan. He described the incident as "painful" and wished Pakistan further security and stability.
