UAE condemns terror attacks in Islamabad
Abu Dhabi, Sept. 21, 2008 (WAM) - The United Arab Emirates has condemned the terrorist act which took place this evening in Islamabad and led to killing of tens and injuring of hundreds of people.
"The UAE strongly condemns this heinous crime, committed by terrorists this evening in Islamabad and led to losses in lives and properties," a statement issued by the Foreign Ministry said.
The Foreign Ministry reaffirmed solidarity with the Pakistani government in the face of these terrorist acts and called on the Pakistani people to rally behind their government in fighting terror and ensuring stability in Pakistan. It offered condolences to the families of the innocent victims and wished the injured speedy recovery.
