Somalia thanks Iran for famine assistance

TEHRAN, Sept.5 (MNA) – The director of the Somali Red Crescent Society has recently sent a letter to his Iranian counterpart thanking the Islamic Republic for providing Somalis, who are experiencing severe famine and drought, with humanitarian assistance.

Iran has so far sent eight cargos of humanitarian aid to Somalia.
