Reversing truck kills boy, 5, in Melbourne
SYDNEY (AAP) - 05 Sept. - A five-year-old boy has died after being run over by a truck reversing on the street.
Investigators believe the driver of the truck was reversing on Tamar Drive, Melton, in Melbourne's west, when he struck the boy about 5.50pm (AEST).
The boy died at the scene.
The state's road toll now stands at 200 - three more than in the same period last year.
