BERNAMA'S RADIO24 PLATFORM FOR LISTENERS TO CHANNEL VIEWS, CRITICISM OPENLY

KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 6 (Bernama) -- Bernama's Radio24 has become a major
platform for listeners to openly present their views and criticism on issues
affecting the people, said its adviser Jamil Syed Jaafar.

He said this opinion was based on the positive response from the local
community to the radio news concept pioneered by Bernama's Radio24, which was
established four years ago.

According to him, there had been requests from listeners for more
informative and interactive programmes like the ongoing Hot Seat, Morning Ala
Carte and Whaty Say You created to satisfy the taste of the increasingly
discerning radio listeners.

"Throughout the four years, Radio24 has been touching on issues of concern
to the people and we've provided the space for listeners to give their views,
whether for, against or neutral.

"Such openness has never been demonstrated by any of the country's radio
station before and we (Bernama's Radio24) are proud to be the platform for
this," Syed Jamil said when interviewed during the Kerusi Panas (Hot Seat)
programme Monday.
