UAE Education Minister meets US Education Secretary
Washington, D.C., Sept. 22, 2008 (WAM) - UAE Education Minister HE Dr Hanif Hassan, met yesterday here US Education Secretary Margaret Spellings, at the margins of the World forum on the students with special needs.
Spellings thanked Hanif for attending the event and lauded the relations between the UAE and US in all fields, particularly in the field of education.
Hanif emphasised endeavour of the UAE to benefit from the experiences of the developed countries, particularly in teacher training fields, events organisation and electronic exchange in regard to researches and activities, adding that successful experiences on the students with special needs were presented at the event.
