TEHRAN, Sept.8 (MNA) – In a gathering of laborers on Wednesday, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said that the amount of subsidy cash may be tripled.
About $37.7 billion from the savings gained through the implementation of the subsidy reform plan, which envisages gradual removal of subsidies over the course of five years, have been redistributed among people, and the amount may be tripled, Ahmadinejad stated.
