PETRNAS TWIN TOWERS CLOSED TO VISITORS FOR UPGRADING WORK
KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 10 (Bernama) -- The Petronas Twin Towers, the most
popular landmark in the country, will be closed to visitors temporarily from
Sept 15 to enable work to be carried out to upgrade its facilities.
Petronas Twin Towers, in a statement Friday, said the visiting operations
would be reopened in December, and would offer a more interesting experience for
the public.
"Among the new facilities include a visitor centre with a more comfortable
ticketing counter and interactive exhibitions," it said.
A separate announcement on the reopening of the operation, visit packages
and new tariffs would be made in the near future," it added.
