Kim Jong Il Provides Field Guidance to Work in Various Fields in Pyongyang
Pyongyang, September 10 (KCNA) -- Kim Jong Il, general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and chairman of the DPRK National Defence Commission, gave field guidance to the work in various fields of Pyongyang.
The first leg of his visit was the Pyongyang Stevia Processing Factory.
He set forth tasks facing the factory, noting it has an important role to play for solving the issue of sweetening of the people.
The second leg of his visit was the newly built shop for pancakes stuffed with meat at the Kumsong Foodstuff Factory.
He put forth tasks to be fulfilled by the shop for its management and operation.
He went round the construction site in Mansudae area.
It is the most honorable and worthwhile job for the KPA and people, soldiers and disciples of President Kim Il Sung, to spruce up Mansudae area on the best level to mark the centenary of his birth, he said.
