Iran says ready to help reconstruct Libya
TEHRAN, Sept. 11 (MNA) – Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Ramin Mehmanparast announced Iran is ready to cooperate in the reconstruction of Libya.
“We know that NATO bombardments of Libya have inflicted heavy damage on this country’s economic infrastructure” but Iran is “completely ready to cooperate in Libya’s reconstruction projects,” Mehmanparast told .
Elsewhere in his remarks, he said the Iranian embassy in Libya never halted its activities even when the situation became severely critical and closely monitored the developments.
