Iran`s Hamedan shares attractions at Tehran show

TEHRAN, Sept.11(MNA) -- Tehrani citizens can enjoy Hamedan music and dramatic performances as well as handicrafts at the Niavaran Cultural Center.

The Persian Gulf Hall of the Niavaran Cultural Center is hosting the festival from September 10 to 14.

The Iranian Minister of Education Hamidreza Haji-Babaii, Minister of Culture Seyyed Mohammad Hosseini, the head of the Cultural Committee of the Iranian Majlis Gholam-Ali Haddad-Adel and Hamedan Governor Karamreza Piriyaee attended the opening ceremony of the event.

The art and culture of Hamedan are on display at 15 stands in the Niavaran Cultural Center, the deputy for artistic and cultural affairs of the ministry of culture’s office in Hamedan Majid Fortuan mentioned in a press conference.

Ten stands are dedicated to handicrafts of the province and other stands are dedicated to national documents, cultural heritage, anthropology, traditional coffeehouses and one is occupied by the Ali-Sadr Travel Agency, he said.

Farabi Ensemble conducted by Ali Mohammadi, Hamraz Ensemble conducted by Reza Qodsi and a traditional music ensemble conducted by Rahman Daryaee will perform live music on September 9 and 12, he added.

“Rolling Bowl and a Pot of non-brewed Words” directed by Mehdi Habibi, “L like Lazy” by Reza Ravan, and “Rabbit Collar” by Mohammad Qassemi are on stage until September 14 at the center.
