Iranian artist to attend joint exhibit in Cologne
TEHRAN, Sept. 13 (MNA) -- Iranian artist Mahtab Firuzabadi planned to attend a joint exhibit opening on September 16 in Cologne, Germany where she will be showcasing a selection of her mixed media artworks.
Sculptor David Begbie, an Associate of the Royal Society of British Sculptors, is also displaying his works at the joint exhibit, Firuzabadi told on Monday.
Zeugma Gallery in Cologne will be hosting the exhibit until January 10, 2012, she added.
She added that several of her works are also due to go on sale next month at an art fair arranged in the city of Reggio Emilia in Italy where the gallery owners offer works for sale.
Firuzabadi began her artistic career in early 1970’s and has focused on abstract painting.
She has so far shown her works in different countries such as France, Dubai, China and Germany.
