The Hue Central Hospital put into use a modern medical waste water treatment system
Thua Thien-Hue, Sept. 13 (VNA) – The Hue Central Hospital on Sept. 12 put into use a modern medical waste water treatment system funded by the US ’s East Meets West (EMW) Foundation.
The 425,000 USD system uses advanced equipment from Japan and Taiwan and has a capacity of 850 cu.m per day and night.
After treatment, waste water discharged from the hospital meets Vietnam ’s requirements on environmental hygiene.
In addition, EMW has also helped upgrade the water drainage system for the Hue Central Hospital.
