Iranian ambassador back in Tripoli
TEHRAN, Sept.17(MNA) – The Iranian Ministry announced on Thursday that Tehran’s Ambassador to Tripoli, Ali Asqar Nasseri, has returned to Libya to resume his diplomatic mission.
On September 13, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Ramin Mehmanparast said that Iran will send back its ambassador to Libya at the earliest opportunity.
Iran’s ambassador to Libya had left the African country in protest at former Libyan regime’s violent crackdown on the popular uprising.
