Tehran, London photographers team up for “Identity in Photos” showcase

TEHRAN, Sept. 17 (MNA) -- Young Iranian photographers from London and Tehran have tried to portray their identity in a photo collection currently on display in an exhibition at Tehran’s Silk Road Gallery.

The showcase, which will run until September 21, is displaying 26 photos taken by 16 young adults aged between 17 and 25 under the title of “Identity in Photos”.

The exhibit, which is a sociological exhibition, will be held in Manchester city after Tehran’s showcase.

The Omid-e-Mehr Center in Tehran accompanied by the Iranian Youth Development Association (IYDA) and the Rosetta Art Center in London are sponsoring the event and are holding creative photography workshops for participants.

Photos taken by eleven young girls from Tehran, including Setareh Sadri, Arezu Ataii, Farzaneh Mahmudi, along with those taken by five other young adults are on display at the showcase.

The gallery is located on 112 Lavasani St. in northern Kamranieh.
